Manage Report Groups
What’s New
Manage Report Groups
Build and maintain your report groups in Manager. No more trips to Caliber Desktop to change a board packet.
Feature Overview: Administrators open Reporting → Manage report groups to create, rename, and delete report groups, add and remove reports, drag them into print order, give a report its own name inside a group, and pick the group’s cover sheet. Groups are company-wide and shared with Caliber Desktop.
Benefits:
- Board packets built in Manager: Create and change the report groups used for board meetings and month end without opening Caliber.
- The order and names the board expects: Drag reports into print order and rename a report inside a group, for example “Board Balance Sheet”.
- Cover sheets print from Manager: Pick a cover sheet for the group and Manager prints it in front of each community’s reports.
- Nothing to set up again: The groups you already have in Caliber are the same groups in Manager, and edits show in both.
- Safe for teams: If someone else saved the group first, your save is stopped so no one’s changes are lost.
Run Ad Hoc Reports
Pick the reports, the communities, and the period, and run them once. No group to build first.
Feature Overview: RUN AD HOC, next to RUN NEW REPORT on the Reporting page, runs up to 40 reports in the order you pick for any of your communities over one period. You get one PDF per community and, by default, one combined PDF for all of them.
Benefits:
- Answer one-off requests fast: Auditor or board asks for a specific set of reports? Run exactly those, with no group to create or clean up.
- A whole portfolio in one file: Combine every community into one PDF, and still get a separate PDF for each community.
- Keep working: Runs happen in the background and appear in Recently Run Reports.
- For every Reporting user: Anyone who can open Reporting can run ad hoc reports for their own communities, as in Caliber.
Clearer Results on Every Report Group Run
See which communities were included and why any were skipped.
Feature Overview: Saved and ad hoc report group runs now show “N included, M skipped” with a reason for each skipped community. When some communities fail, the others still finish and a combined PDF is marked “Partial: n of m communities”.
