Statement Runs in FRONTSTEPS Manager

Updated Sep 8, 2026

Manager release notes, 8 September 2026, Version Calendar Filters and Event Navigation. Published on frontsteps.com/release-notes.

What’s New?

Statement Runs in FRONTSTEPS Manager

Community Association Managers and Accounting staff can now create, run, and deliver homeowner statement batches directly from FRONTSTEPS Manager — no Caliber Desktop required.

What’s Improved

Calendar Filters and Event Navigation

Filtering the calendar and moving between events no longer produces an error page.

Previous Behavior:
When a user set the Calendar filter to “None” (to show only events they created) and then refreshed the page or opened an event, Community displayed an error page instead of the calendar or event details. In some cases, opening an event and returning to the calendar would also fail to load. Residents and staff lost access to event information and could not rely on the calendar filter.

Resolution:
The calendar now loads correctly with any filter applied, and users can open an event and return to the calendar without errors. Residents and managers can filter to their own events and view event details as expected.

Deleted Work Order Documents

Documents removed from a work order in Caliber are now removed from Community as well.

Previous Behavior:
When a document attached to a work order was deleted in Caliber, the file continued to appear on the homeowner’s work order in Community. Residents could still see and download a document the management team had intentionally removed.

Resolution:
Document deletions on work orders now carry over from Caliber to Community, so residents see only the documents that are currently attached to their work order.

Closed Violation Status from TOPS Pro

Violations closed in TOPS Pro now display as closed in Community.

Previous Behavior:
A violation that had been closed in TOPS Pro could continue to display as open in Community, creating confusion for management teams and residents and leading to unnecessary follow-up.

Resolution:
Closed violation statuses from TOPS Pro now display accurately in Community, keeping violation records consistent across both systems.

Architectural Request Notes in Caliber

Notes added to architectural requests in Community now appear in Caliber exactly as they were written.

Previous Behavior:
When a note was added to an architectural request through Community, the note appeared correctly in Community but showed up in Caliber with “+” symbols in place of the spaces between words, making notes hard to read for the management team.

Resolution:
Architectural request notes now carry over to Caliber with their original spacing and formatting, so managers working in Caliber can read resident and board notes clearly.
