What’s New?

What’s Improved
Owners With Outstanding Balances No Longer Missed by Resident Engagement Campaigns
Resident Engagement’s “Account Balance Outstanding” campaigns now reach every eligible owner, and any owner who still can’t be matched is called out by name instead of silently skipped.

Previous Behavior: Units that were added to Community before being connected to the accounting system were missing a piece of data used to match an owner to their account balance. Resident Engagement’s “Account Balance Outstanding” audience could not match these owners, so they were left out of the campaign with no indication anything was missing.

Resolution: FRONTSTEPS Support can now quickly correct this missing data for an entire community, and any owner who still can’t be matched is named in the campaign’s event log instead of disappearing without explanation. If owners with outstanding balances never seem to receive these campaigns, reach out to Support so this can be checked.

Violation Correction Emails Now Link Managers to the Right Page
The “View Violation” link in a Violation Correction Notification now takes each recipient to a page they can actually open.

Previous Behavior: When a homeowner added a note and checked “Correct Violation,” a Violation Correction Notification was sent to both managers and board members with the same link — one that only board members could open. Managers who clicked it were left on the login page or a page that never loaded, with no way to reach the violation.

Resolution: The link is now built for the recipient’s role. Managers are sent to the violations page they’re permitted to view, and board members continue to receive the same violation detail page as before. A manager who is already signed in goes straight to the violation from the email. The “View Violation” button text, previously truncated in the email, now displays correctly as well.

Campaign Metrics for Imported-Recipient Campaigns
Campaigns sent to an imported recipient list now report their email metrics instead of showing “No data found.”

Previous Behavior: A campaign built from an imported recipient list delivered its emails successfully, but the Emails tab under Review Metrics showed “No data found” and “No emails found matching your criteria,” even though the emails had gone out.

Resolution: Email activity is now recorded for imported-recipient campaigns, and delivery, open, and bounce updates are matched back to each send by email address. The Emails tab now lists each imported send with its email address, template, status, and timestamp. Campaigns sent to residents are unchanged.
