Web Portal Version 7.29.26

What’s New?

Fewer Unexpected Portal Sign-Outs

Residents entering a high volume of records in rapid succession are no longer signed out mid-task.

Previous Behavior: A resident entering roughly 30 log entries in quick succession — pasting each from an external document — was unexpectedly signed out and received errors during data entry.

Resolution: Concurrent authentication token refreshes no longer force a sign-out, so rapid successive requests keep the session intact.

Suspended Manager Accounts Unsuspend Reliably

Unsuspending a manager account now reports its true result instead of showing a false success.

Previous Behavior: A manager attempting to unsuspend another manager’s account saw a success message, but the account remained suspended and did not appear under active users.

Resolution: The unsuspend action no longer reports success when the underlying save fails, so the outcome shown matches what actually happened to the account.

ARC Submissions Complete Successfully

Architectural Change Requests submit and leave Draft status as expected.

Previous Behavior: For a limited number of residents experiencing the issue, selecting Submit on a completed ARC form displayed a loading spinner and then returned to the form with no error message. The request stayed in Draft status.

Resolution: ARC submissions no longer fail silently; the request completes and moves out of Draft.

Executable File Uploads Blocked on ARC Attachments

Executable files can no longer be attached to an ARC request.

Previous Behavior: Any file type was accepted as an ARC attachment, including executable files, which can carry malware.

Resolution: Executable file uploads are rejected at the ARC attachment step.

Consistent PDF Document Previews

The “Document Preview Not Available” message now appears only when a preview genuinely cannot be shown.

Previous Behavior: Some PDFs rendered a preview while the “Document Preview Not Available” large-file message displayed at the same time. Other PDFs that were not large showed the same message with no preview.

Resolution: Preview banner and hidden-state no longer carry over from a previously opened document, so each PDF shows the correct message for itself.

eForm Dropdowns Start Blank

Dropdown fields on eForms no longer pre-select the first option.

Previous Behavior: Every dropdown on an eForm auto-selected its first option, which led users to assume no other choices were available.

Resolution: Required eForm dropdowns start blank and stay blank until the user chooses an option.

Spellcheck in the eForm Description Field

Spellcheck now works in the eForm Description field.

Previous Behavior: Misspelled words in the Description field of an eForm were not underlined and right-click spelling suggestions did not appear, though browser spellcheck worked normally elsewhere, including the title field.

Resolution: Spellcheck is enabled on the eForm Description field.

Resident Self-Registration Failure Prompt

The self-registration failure message no longer offers manager and administrator options.

Previous Behavior: When a resident’s self-registration attempt failed, the prompt displayed “Go to Login Page” and “Reset Password” buttons that linked to manager and administrator authentication pages.

Resolution: Those options are hidden when self-registration cannot be matched to a record. Residents see only the actions that apply to them.

Addresses and Units Display Within Groups

Groups with a large number of assigned units now list every address in the editable Addresses/Units area.

Previous Behavior: In an affected community, viewing a group showed the assigned units in the group but displayed nothing under Addresses/Units, so managers could not review or remove individual addresses.

Resolution: The Addresses/Units field populates for large groups, listing each selected address with a remove control.
