What’s Improved?
Autopay After a Change of Ownership
Scheduled autopay for a previous homeowner no longer continues after the property changes hands.
Previous Behavior:
After a Change of Ownership was completed in Caliber, the payments dashboard could continue to show the previous homeowner on the property. Because the previous owner’s payment profile stayed active, their scheduled autopay could keep processing after they no longer owned the property. That could lead to incorrect payments, refunds, and confusion for homeowners and management teams.
Resolution:
Ownership changes made in Caliber now carry over fully to payments. The previous owner’s scheduled autopay no longer processes for a property they’ve sold, and the dashboard reflects the current owner. This protects former homeowners from unexpected charges and keeps payment records consistent with the accounting system.
