Admin/Manager - Domain Name Service FAQs
Should I manage my own name service or should I transition management to Frontsteps?
Managing your own name service vs. transitioning the management to Frontsteps is a business decision your organization must make. Some organization choose to manage their own domain service. Others ask Frontsteps to do it on their behalf. Generally, if you are a larger organization with specific needs surrounding your DNS service and have technical resources available to you, you will want to manage it yourself. If on the other hand you do not know what DNS is nor want to manage it, Frontsteps DNS management is an attractive option.
